Join FactSet as a Senior Payroll Specialist (Part-Time / 60%) in Amsterdam

The payroll team ensures that FactSet employees receive accurate and timely compensation, aligning with statutory regulations and business goals. By joining this team, you will help streamline payroll processes, support HR projects, and collaborate with auditors, thereby enhancing FactSet's operational efficiency.

Your Team's Impact

- Payroll Management: Execute the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy in basic pay, statutory and supplementary benefits, stock compensation, and payroll taxes.

- Data Analysis & Reconciliation: Review and reconcile payroll data inputs versus outputs, identifying and resolving discrepancies within tight deadlines.

- Expat Payroll Support: Administer payroll calculations for expats/inpats as needed, ensuring compliance and precision.

- Tax Filings & Financial Reconciliation: Manage timely and accurate wage tax filing, perform monthly/quarterly financial reconciliations, and address tax-related inquiries.

- Audit Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing essential payroll documentation and clarifications.

- HR Collaboration: Assist HR Operations in addressing complex payroll matters and provide insights and data to support HR projects.

- Continuous Improvement: Maintain payroll FAQs and contribute to process enhancements that optimize payroll operations.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills

- At least 5 years of experience in a payroll environment, with a strong understanding of Dutch payroll systems and regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or HR.
- Experience with ADP (preferably ADP Celergo) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in advising on compensation-related taxation and labor laws.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English & Dutch, enabling effective communication and documentation.
- Demonstrated high numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude, essential for navigating payroll challenges.
- Familiarity with operating in a SOX-compliant environment.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt, analyze information, and make informed judgments.
- Strong capability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
