JOB PURPOSE:

The Client Licensing Senior Co-ordinator is responsible for the execution of client usage reviews across all of FactSet’s Strategic Business Units (“SBUs”) and products to ensure that FactSet clients are in compliance with the terms and limitations of their applicable licensing agreements. Client usage reviews involve preparing written questionnaires and performing client interviews to understand and document how FactSet data and products are used within a client’s IT framework. These reviews will protect FactSet intellectual property and reduce FactSet’s third-party data compliance risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform and facilitate the execution of client usage reviews including conducting client meetings, researching client account information, and documenting client feedback.
  • Communicating client feedback and usage review observations with relevant internal stakeholders including account managers and product managers globally as well as within their local office.
  • Keeping an accurate record of results and planning and forecasting potential ASV
  • Working closely with the US Client Licensing Team to first get onboarded and to continue to work collaboratively to achieve team success. This will involve working US Eastern time zones initially for a few months to get onboarded and then having some overlap weekly, including calls to touch base and collaborate.
  • Review and understand client licensing agreements and articulate product licensing limitations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Becoming familiar with terms and actual client usage
  • Projects to aid in the enhancement of FactSet functions that are supported by client usage reviews including sales, product development, and client licensing.
  • To streamline processes to make work more efficient but still accurate
  • Activities in support of FactSet’s intellectual property and third-party data management program.
  • Contributing to the Project Admire broader vision

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in finance, economics, or equivalent field.
  • 2-3+ years of experience within financial services or relevant industry.
  • Interest in the financial markets and ability to converse in technical and complex subject matter.
  • Investigative mindset and ability to maintain confidence and composure in stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken), as well as interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent skills using Excel and other software related tools, knowledge working in Power BI and in SalesForce or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of market data licensing terms and policies.
  • Technical knowledge such as IT architecture and design, systems engineering, data mapping, and access control entitlements.
  • Experience with market data audits or other types of audits.
  • Experience working within the financial services industry such as an asset manager, hedge fund, investment bank, regulator, or fintech company.
