Due to our rapid growth, Intero Integrity Services is hiring for an existing vacancy in our Scarborough location.

Position Summary

The People and Talent Generalist is responsible for full cycle recruitment initiatives and providing general HR support to enhance business maintenance and growth across all areas of the America’s business. This role will spend most of their time independently driving the planning, coordination and delivery of the recruitment strategy for the America’s business and support the HR function through onboarding, project contribution and assisting day to day activities.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment (80%+)

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and offer coordination, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience throughout.
  • Partner closely with leaders, hiring managers, and the HR Business Partner to understand workforce needs, define role requirements, and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Proactively source and engage high-caliber candidates through active and passive methods, using tailored outreach that highlights role impact, growth opportunities, and cultural alignment.
  • Develop and execute creative, data-driven sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Conduct structured screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate technical qualifications, cultural fit, and overall suitability; provide selection guidance to hiring managers.
  • Maintain a ready-to-hire talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Leverage recruitment data and market insights to track performance, optimize processes, challenge hiring assumptions, and influence decision-making.
  • Produce and deliver recruitment business reviews, sharing trends, market conditions, and recommendations with key stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, speed, compliance, and quality of hire.
  • Strengthen employer brand and early-career pipelines by developing partnerships, coordinating and attending job fairs, and representing the organization in the talent market.

HR Generalist (20%)

  • Support administration of HR programs such as leaves of absence, accommodations, and attendance management.
  • Assist in providing day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards, human rights and internal policies. Ensure issues are handled consistently, fairly, and in compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Implement and administer employee policies.
  • Support compensation and benefit administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and annual compensation review processes.
  • Assist the performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, documentation, and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with policy development, updates, and communication.

What you should bring to the team

Experience

  • Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in direct hiring and innovative, multi-channel sourcing strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines across multiple priorities.
  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze metrics, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights to hiring managers.
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to deliver results in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to present data and recommendations effectively.
  • Adaptable problem-solver able to pivot strategies and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient in HRIS, ATS and MS Office tools.

Required Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years’ full cycle recruitment experience in both Canada & USA, preferably in oil & gas or industrial sectors.
  • 2 years’ experience working in HR outside of recruitment.
  • College Degree/Certificate in Business, Human Resources or related field.
  • CHRP designation is an asset.

Approximate Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 per annum. The offer will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and qualifications including relevant education and training.
