Picovoice is a profitable and steadily growing deep-tech AI startup. We build AI models and engines that empower developers.

We know developers adopt technologies fastest when they see practical tutorials, engaging demos, and benchmarks in action. We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Video Content Creator who can code, explain, and showcase our tools through high-quality videos. Your work will be the bridge between our products and the developers who adopt them.

What You’ll Do

• Tutorials and Demos: Create video tutorials and demo walkthroughs that explain technical concepts and showcase product capabilities.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the SEO/content team to align video topics with developer needs, trending searches, and product launches.
• Video Production: Script, record, edit, and publish videos across YouTube, social platforms, and documentation sites.
• Developer Engagement: Monitor developer feedback, comments, and engagement to refine style, topics, and delivery.

Who You Are

• Strong Communicator: You explain complex topics simply, clearly, and in a way that resonates with developers.
• Content Creator: You’re comfortable scripting, recording, editing, and publishing high-quality video content.
• Developer Empathy: You understand developer workflows, frustrations, and what kind of tutorials they actually watch.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on Coding: Build real projects with Picovoice SDKs, recording your process step-by-step for developer audiences.
• Self-Directed: You can take a technical topic, build a project around it, and ship a video end-to-end without any guidance

Application Process

• Share a sample technical video you’ve created with success metricsIf you do not have any experience, pick one of the Picovoice tutorials (e.g., Adding Speaker Diarization to Whiper using Falcon) and record a video
• Behavioral + Technical Interview
• Paid work trial (on-site)

This is an on-site position based in our Vancouver or Toronto office, with a salary range of $45,000–$75,000/year, determined by impact rather than tenure. You’ll also begin earning equity after your first year, directly tied to your contributions.
