About NordSpace

NordSpace (https://nordspace.com) is a Canadian startup with the mission to advance life on Earth, from space. NordSpace is committed to extremely rapid innovation and development of only the most ambitious aerospace projects with only the most ambitious team Canada has to offer. With divisions of rocket propulsion, autonomous robotics and satellite integration, NordSpace is driven to do everything it takes to bring space closer to Earth and inspire generations of space explorers.

The Machinist & Shop Coordinator will be the one to lead NordSpace's efforts to rapidly bring designs and ideas from all its divisions to life for testing and manufacturing. In-house manufacturing and vertical integration are critical aspects of our culture and philosophy at NordSpace, which is why we have invested in everything from robotic welders and metal additive manufacturing machines to clean rooms, CNC plasma cutters and mills, composite ovens, and more. You should consider yourself the ultimate "maker" and "hacker", the type of person who is able to build just about anything, with anything. In fact, if you weren't working at NordSpace, you'd be working with the Hacksmith building the next Iron Man suit or Lightsaber. If the thought of building everything from robots to rockets excites you, try pairing that with the idea that you will have the freedom to build NordSpace's first rocket factory with all the gadgets and machines you could ever dream of.
