Position Overview:

ParkCo is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to spearhead the development of our next-generation software solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping our CI/CD pipeline strategy, optimizing AWS DevOps practices, and guiding our development team toward delivering high-performance, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS DevOps, Node.js, and RESTful APIs, and will thrive in a collaborative environment where technical leadership, innovation, and mentorship are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, ensuring

consistent code quality and adherence to best practices.

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable backend software solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Lead the continuous improvement of the CI/CD pipeline using AWS DevOps tools and practices to enhance deployment efficiency and system performance.

• Conduct regular code reviews, enforce development standards, and oversee database maintenance to ensure system integrity and stability.

• Facilitate and lead daily Scrum meetings and weekly sprint reviews, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and timely delivery of milestones.

• Drive collaborative ideation sessions with product managers and team leads to define, refine, and optimize software logic and architecture.

• Champion security best practices, including routine audits and refactoring, to maintain modern and secure applications.

• Identify and implement operational improvements, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Key Qualifications and Leadership Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge in software development principles.

• Proven expertise in Node.js with a comprehensive understanding of Microservices Architecture, enabling effective design and scaling of distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps and cloud services, including S3, ECS, Amazon Forecast, and CloudWatch, with the ability to lead cloud infrastructure optimization and deployment strategies.

• Deep knowledge of React Native for mobile application development, driving cross- platform solutions and mobile strategy.

• Practical experience in front-end development using Vue.js, fostering seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

• Skilled in managing and optimizing databases, particularly MongoDB and Amazon RDS, to support robust and scalable data storage solutions.
