ParkCo is looking for a Full Stack Lead Developer to join our team in developing a new generation of software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and object-oriented programming (OOP). You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features alongside our software team, writing unit tests, participating in live tests, and refactoring existing code. The role would work alongside ParkCo’s Software Manager and regularly interact with its CEO & COO in building out solutions. As a fast-growing company, the ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial and proactive outlook and can quickly adapt to changing requirements.

Job Description: • Designing, building, testing and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements • Writing scalable and efficient code and leading code reviews • Building reusable components and libraries for future • Provide code documentation and track version control • Participate in daily and weekly sprints with wider team to discuss production issues and fixes • Work with our Software Manager and CEO to define and improve software logic • Troubleshoot and debug software related problems to optimize performance

Key Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field • Understanding, designing and developing efficient APIs for scalable use. • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (ex. Javascript, Ruby, Python) • Expertise with AWS cloud platform and AWS services (Ex. S3, ECS, Amazon Forecast) • Experience using database programs like MongoDB and Amazon RDS • Version control with Git, code deployment with CodeShip, and run applications with Docker • Strong problem solving and communication skills
