Job Description

RESOURCE AND STAFFING ASSOCIATE

Location: Torre Aurum, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon.

Modality: Hybrid

As a Resource and Staffing Associate, you will lead all staffing operations for a business segment within our Professional Services group. In this role, you will partner with Project and People Managers to streamline resource allocation and workforce planning. You will work in a remote setting and report to the Regional Staffing Manager.

Responsibilities:

Staffing

  • Work with segment leaders to ensure the appropriate allocation of resources on projects across the business segment according to identified staffing metrics.

  • Understand upcoming demand to identify and forecast resource needs for the business segment.

  • Lead weekly business segment staffing calls, track Project kick-off documents, and maintain resource planner for the business segment.

  • Understand business objectives and support process to recommend staffing options: assign an experienced resource, a resource to train, a candidate to hire or subcontract role.

  • Identify profile and skills required for open project roles and match project resource gaps with available staff to assign people to projects.

  • Actively assess and analyze resource workloads, experience, interests, feedback, and availability to effectively staff them on projects.

  • Maintain a roster of all business segment resources deployed and engagements to be able to assess utilization and availability.

  • Manage staffing conflicts amongst all business segments by collaborating with other talent associates to maximize firm profitability.

  • Ensure proper management of business segment team assets (bios, resumes, and skills matrix).

  • Consolidate the business segment weekly staffing updates to ensure they are incorporated in our global weekly reporting.

  • Ensure adoption of systems and best practices of business process to optimize global staffing and improve accuracy of data.

  • Liaise with global talent operations and delivery excellence to support initiatives and strategic imperatives as needed.

  • Capture and report upon relevant KPIs. Review and analyse weekly staffing reporting for the business segment, including:

  • Weekly analysis of headcount, resources availability and utilization forecast.

  • Weekly analysis of individual’s utilization and variance.

  • Monthly resource gap analysis to determine tactical short-term TA goals.

  • Monthly aging report to review and assess long-term beached resources.

Other Talent Responsibilities

  • Identify potential transitions for business segment through staffing process, based on availability, performance, and upcoming business needs.

  • Help talent leadership formulate plans to achieve long-term growth and support strategic alignment for the business segment.

  • Support activities related to performance reviews within a business segment.

  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition team to:

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of staff and subcontractors.​

  • Collaborate with recruiting team on progress of open requisitions.​

  • Partner with Early Career program to assist with intern project assignments that provide a meaningful experience to evaluate for potential hire.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree required.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.

  • All applicants applying for job openings based in Mexico must be authorized to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a professional services firm.

  • Experience in a talent position, preferably with resource management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage in a virtual organization.

  • Superior analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, comfort with Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment.

  • Superior organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure, adhere to deadlines, and can juggle multiple requests from various executives.

  • English language: excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Potential to travel up to 2-3 times per year.
