Job Description
We provide remote technical support to Rockwell Automation customers around the world. 200 engineers communicate with customers in 20 languages.
We work in hybrid mode from our office located in Katowice (after the trial period ends), from Monday to Friday between 6-17 (8 work hours).
Support line dedicated to EMEA customers.
On this role you will report to Team Leader located in Katowice.
Your Responsibilities:
- support for customers and distributors in solving technical problems related to Rockwell Automation products by telephone (80%), chat/email (20%),
- simulation and analysis of issues reported by users in the laboratory,
- document technical solutions and best practices,
- cooperation with technical teams and customer service,
- continuous improvement in the area of Rockwell Automation products and technologies.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- graduates of IT / Automation / Electronics or up to 3 years of experience in automation control systems programming and implementation,
- knowledge of industrial controllers,
- knowledge of industrial communication protocols,
- knowledge or/and experience in computer network configuration,
- knowledge how to proceed with technical documentation,
- very good written and spoken English,
- very good written and spoken Russian or Belarusian or Ukrainian,
- experience how to handle stressful situations,
- manage priorities on a daily basis.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- a Cisco / Microsoft certificate will be an advantage,
- additional European language,
- technical education and/or experience in a similar position,
- customer service experience.
Additional information:
- hybrid work (3 days from the office)
- we provide training (i. e. 4 months in the "Engineer in Training Program") and shadowing.
