Job Description

As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of our customers' IT environments. You will report to the Supervisor, Managed Serices and will be working in a hybrid schedule in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitoring IT Infrastructure: Proactively oversee and maintain customer IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for our clients. Your communication skills and professionalism will shape their experience and reflect our company's values.
• Technical Support: Provide expert support via phone and email to resolve issues related to virtualization (VMware), Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019), and backup systems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation of technical solutions, procedures, and best practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and continuously improve your technical expertise.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Good command of English
• university degree – preferable IT/Automatics or similar or 5 years of professional experience
• 3 years of experience in administering Linux systems, including Ubuntu, RedHat or CentOS.
• 5 years of experience in administering Windows Server environments, including versions 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• 5 years of experience in administering virtual infrastructure such as VMware, Nutanix, or similar platforms.
• experience in configuration, administration, and service management - DNS, DHCP, RDP
• experience in administering backup systems such as NetBackup, Veeam, Backup Exec, and VMware vSphere Data Protection (VDP).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience managing environments connected with VMware, VSAN
• Certification Microsoft MCSA
• Certification VMware VCA/VCP
• Experience administering Lan / Wan networks based on Cisco technologies will be an advantage
• Power Shell, Bash scripting, programming skills, Perl
• Knowledge of an additional European language will be an advantage
