Job Description
As an Associate DevOps Engineer for Rockwell Automation, you will have the opportunity to drive Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes for industry-leading Rockwell Automation offerings in HMI area. HMI devices of PanelView 5000 family and FT Optix help our customers to build modern applications more easily and improve machine operator's performance with an intuitive design environment.
You will report to the Manager, Software Development and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support development teams in their daily usage of build environment
- Keep the existing infrastructure up to date and operable
- Resolve the issues related to the building infrastructure
- Propose optimization and innovations for the existing environment
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge in Software Configuration Management
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and methodologies (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Competency in one or more programming languages to create automation (Python preferred).
- Experience with modern Source Control Management like Git
- Experience with the development and deployment of software automated tests or software automated test frameworks and associated execution frameworks and tools
- Knowledge of cloud deployment tools and methodologies (Terraform)
- Experience with automated build systems
- Experience with configuration management solution like Chef, Puppet, Ansible
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with implementation and use of different application and infrastructure monitoring tools
