Job Description
Position Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance, managing accounting staff, and preparing financial reports and analyses.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing accounting procedures, assisting with budgets and audits, training staff, and collaborating with management on financial matters.
Your Responsibilities:

Supervision and Management - Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work quality and adherence to policies.
Prepare and follow the closing calendar ensuring the activities are completed at appropriate time.
Monitor and review the accounting team's closing checklist.
Responsible for ensuring the right organization structure is in place to deliver optimal accounting services.

Compliance & Control - Monitor compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal controls, and assist with internal and external audits.
Provide leadership, direction and support in establishing, maintaining and enforcing proper internal control policies and procedures for the multiple product offerings covered within this scope of responsibility.
Following established procedures and guidelines ensuring that divergences are addressed.

Month-end & Year-end Close - Manage and oversee the close processes for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.
Responsible for monthly submission process through Hyperion Management (HFM) ensuring there is no difference between SAP and HFM.
Review and approve BS accounts reconciliations on ARC.
Prepare the reconciliation of key Balance Sheet accounts including revenue recognition adjusting differences between GAAPs when it is applicable.
Developing and analyzing relevant financial/accounting reports.

Process Improvement - Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Promotes a philosophy of continuous process improvement through risk management support.
Collaboration - Work with other departments to track expenditure, manage budgets, and provide financial guidance.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of five years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience is required
The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of accounting professionals.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills
A meticulous approach to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
Advanced English proficiency is required
Required knowledge in SAP
Microsoft Office package Domain (MS Excel required advanced knowledge)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
MBA in Finance or related subject
