As a Senior Industrialization Engineer , you will report to the Industrialization Manager within the QME organization and be part of the Industrialization Team based in Poland. In this role, you will be actively involved in New Product Introduction (NPI), contributing to product design, assembly process development, technology selection and validation, as well as creating product documentation to ensure efficient product release. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe.

Throughout the project phases, you will coordinate activities related to product cost optimization, process improvements, and production line capability. Thanks to your early involvement in the project lifecycle, you will have a direct impact on the overall success of the project.

This position is based in Katowice and follows a hybrid work model.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the introduction of new products through Design for initiatives and through the Manufacturing Design Specification in accordance with the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes
  • Work with Engineering Design and Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability for a New Product Introduction
  • Collaboration with development engineering to leverage Df(x) to obtain product cost.
  • Support development of manufacturing specification and validate against Digital twins
  • Support development of the associated documentation and estimate manufacturing cost
  • Works on issues of medium scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercise judgement in supporting the selection of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Work concurrently on multiple NPI and non-NPI projects
  • Evaluate assembly process between manual, semi-automated and automated
  • Support a Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA)
  • Use Lean six sigma tools and methodologies in product and process improvements
  • Support the development of strategies for the procurement and installation of all final functional assembly related capital equipment required for Rockwell production facilities

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree or education
  • 5+ years' experience in engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding of New Product Introduction process
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Understanding and can demonstrate Design for Assembly, Cost and Automation on an NPI
  • Knowledge of proven Manufacturing process and how to apply
  • Lead Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning system, preferably SAP
  • Exhibit good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communications in English & Polish
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time mainly international

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • PMP or other project management certification
  • Experience with 3D design tools like CAD, Creo, NX etc.
  • Green Belt certificate
  • Automated assembly awareness
