Job Description
Position Summary:
Reporting to our Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, the position in an ETO environment will help translate unique customer requirements into efficient and reliable manufacturing processes. You will lead to process development, production readiness, and continuous improvement programs to ensure on time delivery of high quality, custom engineered solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and validation of manufacturing processes for custom-engineered products in a ETO environment.
- Collaborate with design engineering to review and influence products designs for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency.
- Develop manufacturing process documentation, including work instructions (or visual aids), routings, PFMEA.
- Develop and implement jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling to improve quality, safety, efficiency and productivity.
- Support new product introductions (NPI's) and ensure smooth transition from engineering design to manufacturing floor.
- Identify and lead process improvements to reduce lead times, minimize waste, and increase resources.
- Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting process issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support root cause analysis and for non-conformities and process deviations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced level of English.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process design, core tools and other process improvements methodologies.
- Proficient in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO/AS standard compliance requirements and industry 4.0 technologies.
