Job Description
Cyber Professional Services is part of Rockwell Automation's lifecycle services business, dedicated to delivering technical services, including system startup and troubleshooting across various applications and infrastructures. Our focus areas include Networking, Virtualization, and Cybersecurity within Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
In this assignment, you will be working in the Oil & Gas sector to strengthen the Industrial Cybersecurity Management System, increase cybersecurity maturity, and ensure regulatory compliance in mission-critical ICS/SCADA environments.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will execute and coordinate the implementation of OT cybersecurity controls: OS/firmware patching, antivirus updates, hardening of network devices, servers, operator stations, etc.
- Maintain and update OT network diagrams and plans, as well as inventories of critical assets.
- Support local teams (OT CSIRT / operations / maintenance) in response to alerts/incidents; facilitate IT/OT collaboration and cybersecurity documentation management.
- Perform and update OT risk assessments according to reference methodologies and standards; define and execute action plans and new controls.
- Prepare periodic reports (including visibility/asset management), evidence for internal/external audits, and semiannual compliance evaluations.
- Develop training on OT threats and vulnerabilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinate cybersecurity activities with vendors and integrators of control systems.
The Essentials – You will Have
- University degree in Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science/IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial cybersecurity (OT) in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Pulp & Paper, or related industries.
- Knowledge of ICS/SCADA (e.g., Honeywell Experion/TDC300, Rockwell FactoryTalk; GE Cimplicity, Wonderware InTouch).
- Proficiency in Windows Server/Workstations in OT (patching and hardening), network administration, and AV platforms (e.g., McAfee ePO, Broadcom/Symantec).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- B1-level English (or higher) for documentation and coordination with vendors.
- National driver's license.
- At least one relevant certification (or a firm plan to obtain one in the short term): ISA/IEC 62443 (Cybersecurity Fundamentals), CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, VMware VCA/VCP, Nutanix, GICSP, CISSP, Fortinet/Palo Alto, Claroty/Dragos, Pen Testing, NERC-CIP.
- Availability to work 100% on-site (Chile, Concón (V Región) y/o Gran Concepción (VIII Región)).
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience preparing evidence for audits/regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience with OT monitoring platforms.
- Basic knowledge of ethical hacking and forensic analysis for incident reporting.
