Job Description
The Regional VP, Lifecycle Services, Asia Pacific leads the profitable and sustainable growth and performance of the Lifecycle business in Asia Pacific Region. The Lifecycle business includes both the Projects and Services business of Rockwell across the entire offerings of Rockwell.
Reporting to VP/GM, Lifecycle Services- Head of Regions, you will lead the strategy and execution of the Lifecycle business' priorities, managing the end-to-end lifecycle needs of the customers from pre-sales, projects to customer maintenance/support.
You will manage a P&L of approximately $400 Mn and 700+ people. Responsibilities include overall management of the total LCS business P&L, achieving annual revenue, operating earnings, resource use, productivity, customer satisfaction index targets and other goals of each business. You will also oversee the strategic growth priorities of the Lifecycle Servies business.
We are looking for someone who can lead while building relationships with critical business partners (Sales, Global Engineering and Business Services, Integrated Supply Chain, Portfolio).
You will lead different resources in design, proposal, project management, field technical support, training and asset management professionals, project resources, engineers, training instructors, coordinators, asset management professionals, administrative personnel, and commercial resources across Asia Pacific.
To be successful, you must excel in managing financial plans, execution plans to deliver short to mid-term growth balanced in developing strategies to support sustainable long-term growth supporting business & people strategies.
Your Responsibilities:
Functional
- Work with Global Lifecycle Leaders and Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) to develop & implement annual commercial and delivery business strategies (BSR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP) focus on business growth (orders, revenue, growth plans, expenses), investment allocation, market focus plan and strategy.
- Ensure plans for driving market share growth, revenue and orders growth, and profitability.
- Accountable for achievement of regional orders and revenue performance plus OE across regional P&L
- Evaluate delivery risk and provide commercial support for large projects and contracts
- Provide planning discipline to ensure segment growth and implement appropriate metrics to monitor and lead accomplishment of goals
- Lead the continuous improvement culture based in and off the region capabilities.
- Managed project, transactional, and contractual offerings
- Provide market intelligence on PAM, market share, product positioning, commercial positioning, and competitor information.
- Provide strategic insight and subject matter expertise to sales organization and other partners and take an active role in joint sales calls and large account presentations, proposal management and review.
Leadership
- Attract new talent while developing and retaining passionate team members for the region.
- Develop workforce plan including critical role identification, succession planning and employee development plans. Provide coaching to team, develop technical, business and leadership competency; develop future LCS leaders and retain top talent.
- Ensure collaboration across Global Sales organization, Business Units, delivery, and the Rockwell Automation (RA) PartnerNetwork.
- Develop relationships with business leaders at strategic customers and work with customers to promote growth opportunities on Rockwell Automation solution and services capabilities and close strategic orders.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering/ Technology, or relevant equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of Business management experience preferably in automation industry with at least 10 years' experience managing a large P&L and a large team.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Strategic leadership and thought balanced with sustainable performance management ability.
- Collaborative, able to manage matrix reporting teams and multiple partners.
- Lead change & culture transformation and managing change
- Previous experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Expertise in managing P&L and general accounting principles.
- Customer-focused, innovation-driven, and brings value and sustainable growth to customers.
- Go to market and channel management experience
- Manage large projects and contracts
- Establish substantial credibility both internally and with Rockwell Automation and partners.
- Understanding of services and solutions portfolio/capabilities
- Experience across diverse set of industries; Food & Beverage, Home & Personal Care, Auto & Tire, Transportation, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper
