Job Description

The Team Lead plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of services within the Safety Services business unit. This position is primarily responsible for guiding and mentoring field consultants, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and supporting operational excellence. While the role includes limited billable work, the emphasis is on leadership, team development, and project oversight. You will report to the Global Delivery Manager, Safety Services and will be fully remote, working in Pennsylvania, USA.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Supervise a team of 5–10 direct reports, providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
    • Facilitate training on standard operating procedures and fieldwork practices.
    • Support career development through regular check-ins, performance reviews, and growth planning.
    • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with project goals and company standards.
  • Operational Support & Project Oversight:
    • Collaborate with other Team Leads and management to resolve customer issues and ensure client satisfaction.
    • Provide support for project execution, including planning, coordination, and quality assurance.
    • Lead or assist with cross-functional and multi-location corporate initiatives as needed.
  • Program Ownership & Strategic Initiatives:
    • Take ownership of specific operational programs or Safety Services offerings as assigned.
    • Responsibilities may include onboarding new team members, managing customer relationships, overseeing project deliverables, or supporting other strategic initiatives.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation:
    • Engage with leadership to develop and implement effective solutions for unique project scopes and operational challenges.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the business unit.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of work experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • The ability to travel up to 25%

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 3+ years working experience with safety products, safety assessments and safety remediation solutions
  • Strong familiarity with safety consulting services delivery methodologies and tools
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Follows safety procedures and guidelines to protect themselves and others
  • Proven ability to influence and guide team members
  • Working towards or has obtained a TUV FS Tech Certification
  • Further education in business administration, operations, or project management
  • Customer/Partner focus: comprehending the needs and requirements of customers or business partners to provide them with strategic value
  • Multiple language skills and cultural experience derived from living outside of home country
