Business Operations Associate

We are seeking an exceptional candidate who is looking for an exciting career in business together with our business leaders by managing overall project performance, visibility to key operational measures and overall business portfolio analysis through regular reporting. You will be key team member to the business segment leader by providing critical business insights and reporting to drive decision making. They will also ensure integrity across financial and operational data to drive accuracy.

The Business Operations Associate will report to the Global Strategic Finance Lead with interaction with the Business Segment Lead and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Business segment analysis:

  • Weekly review and analysis of consulting projects.
  • Manage weekly pipeline review.
  • Monthly business segment portfolio trend analysis.
  • Develop relationships with senior delivery leaders to help identify and escalate project issues.
  • Support annual bottoms-up planning analysis and forecasting.
  • Oversee project wrap-up checklists.
  • Be a liaison to department talent lead to help forecast staffing needs.
  • Support quality and risk management of projects.
  • Contribute to knowledge management process.
  • Provide quarterly updates on business segment financial performance to partners.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial, commercial, and project activity.

Data hygiene and management:

  • Systems in use:
  • NetSuite OpenAir
  • Salesforce CRM
  • WorkDay
  • Oversee pipeline and project data validation.
  • Guide development of streamlined reporting applying PowerBI

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Business, Finance, or other Innovation-relevant discipline
  • 2 years of experience with finance analysis
  • All applicants applying for job openings based in Mexico must be authorized to work in Mexico.

Desirable:

  • Experience in an FP&A role
  • Experience working in a service firm.
  • Excel skills
  • Situational leadership - ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, external clients and partners.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
