Job Description

At this role you're expected to provide technical support via chat to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging systems. Also, you are expected to report reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. You may be involved in customer installation and training.

You will report to the Team Leader and will be located in Katowice.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Live Chat technical support in troubleshooting and solving issues related to Rockwell Automation - Allen Bradley ® software and hardware (PLC, SCADA, HMI, Drives, Motion, Industrial Networks & Components and FT Hub modern cloud products)
  • Simulation and analysis of clients' issues using available resources
  • Research, verification, and resolution of reported issues
  • Document technical solutions and best practices
  • Cooperation with other technical teams and customer service
  • Continuous improvement in products and technologies required to provide high level support for customers
  • Willingness to work on a mixed shift mode (3 shifts Mon-Fri)

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Degree in Automation Engineering/Electrical/related field and/or prior experience on similar position
  • High interpersonal skills and ability to work in stress commercial issues
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Computer proficiency, fast typing skills

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • A demonstrated independent interest in technology
  • Eagerness to develop in Automation Engineering and to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in troubleshooting, testing, and improving our products and services
  • Dedication and commitment to problem resolution
  • Skills in using a VM environment for testing purposes
  • Experience in customer service
