Job Description
As an ASSET MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL you will be based at the client's site, playing a pivotal role in optimizing maintenance operations. Your focus will be on reducing maintenance costs while enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Rockwell Automation is recognized for its strategic approach to maintenance, which significantly contributes to the performance and efficiency of maintenance teams. You will report directly to the Asset Management Program Manager (AMP) and will have a onsite schedule at customer site in Cork, Ireland.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence key operational decisions and contribute to long-term asset reliability and performance. You'll be part of a dynamic environment where your technical expertise and collaborative approach will make a tangible impact on the customer's success.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support maintenance teams by coordinating the availability and delivery of spare parts, helping to maintain workflow efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports.
- Coordinate consignment processes for newly acquired equipment and parts.
- Collaborate with various client departments—such as plant management, engineering, maintenance, procurement, and suppliers—to develop and implement maintenance efficiency strategies.
- Enhance the reliability of repairable spare assets by leveraging internal and external repair vendor capabilities.
- Utilizing a wide network of internal and external repair vendors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of long-term asset management plans.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSc or BEng), or a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or maintenance engineering.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to work in an industrial plant environment, complying with all site-specific safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- An Initiative-driven approach and the ability to identify opportunities for process optimization.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience in project management is highly advantageous.
- Background in customer account management.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
