Job Description
In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Professional Services Solution Consultant (PSSC) to engage in and consult on services engagements with both Rockwell (Plex) sales teams and prospective clients of Plex ERP, MES, QMS and A&O solutions in the manufacturing industry.
The Professional Services Solution Consultant (PSSC) will be the presales services owner for the sales engagement team, leading & managing proposal requests from Enterprise SW sales teams and sales account managers to produce a proposal and then working with the Enterprise SW sales consultant team determines the scope of work. Uses the determined scope, standard work order templates and standard costing tools to produce the implementation proposal for RA PLEX, proactively addresses and manages risks, issues and implementation questions in creative and effective ways to ensure a successful implementation outcome through Go Live.
WHAT’S YOUR IMPACT?
- Engage in pre-sales cycle on “all things” services of varying size and complexity
- Work closely with the Business unit ESSE and ESSC teams, Regional CDM managers to prioritize and work on delivery solutions and estimations.
- Provides accurate and professional proposals within reasonable timeframes in all circumstances.
- Work closely with the Business Unit functional Leaders, viz. Finance, Contracts, and Credit etc., to ensure alignment and internal approvals with these functions.
- Lead the Plex and customer team to proactively identify and design first level of project engagement / to identify potential risks and issues that could impact overall project scope, schedule, or budget
- Ensure compliance with tools and processes.
- Champion Plex’s implementation methodology and drive it through each sales opportunity
- Identify and drive proposal quality, speed, and productivity.
- Provide mentoring and guidance on Professional Services processes during pre and post sales engagements to ensure consistent quality of services delivery during the project
- Responsible for quota/bookings individual forecasting and attainment.
- Build relationships with Plex Sales teams (ESSE’s) and Sales Engineering (ESSC’s) along with delivery and Support teams
IS IT IN YOU?
- Expertise and knowledge in ERP, MES, MOM, Networks, Industry Knowledge, Application Knowledge. Capability for architecture design will be a plus.
- Previous years implementation project/project management experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment in an Operations, Supply Chain or Engineering leadership role is a plus.
- A B.S degree in business / engineering / related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to both shop floor operators and C-Suite executives
- Exceptional organization, time management and communication skills
- Extensive analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Must be ready and willing to travel to customer locations as needed
- Language proficiency – Chinese AND Japanese – we are looking for a bilingual candidate.
