Job Description

At OTTO By Rockwell Automation, as Co-op, Facilities Management, you're excited about the role that robots will play in the future, and you're intrigued by the challenge of joining a growing company. The job location is Kitchener, ON. You will report to Facilities Manager. This is a Full-Time paid internship. You will be working onsite in Kitchener, ON.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain general upkeep and oversee the cleanliness of the office. If you see something wrong; fix it, clean it.
  • Main point of contact for office issues/challenges; monitor Slack channels, JIRA tickets, and reply to general information requests with accurate information
  • Help with the coordination and oversight of repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance
  • Manage/Maintain the office snack/coffee program at all office locations
  • External/Internal mail distribution between locations
  • Maintain/Manage stock levels at multiple locations: (e.g. Office/Janitorial/Coffee Supplies etc.)
  • Assist with onsite supervision of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and plumbing contractors at all offices
  • Inspect the offices on a regular basis to determine the need for repairs or renovations
  • Communicate with cleaning vendors to ensure the clean up of common areas and furniture, and coordinate specialized intensive cleaning requests as necessary
  • Monitor and maintain equipment owned and operated within our offices
  • Maintain the seating plans and coordinate desk allocations when required for internal role changes, new hires, and employee departures
  • Assist with internal/inter-office moves and expansions such as moving bins, labels, coordinating with movers, coordinating relocation deficiencies, special requests.
  • Perform other administrative tasks requested by management

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree from and accredited college or university.
  • A valid Ontario "G" driver's licence and access to a vehicle

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $18-32/hourly. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. The start date & end date of the coop term is September 3rd 2025 to December 19th 2025.

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
