Job Description

Role Purpose :

As a Service Sales Specialist, you will work closely with our internal sales teams and distributor partners to identify customer needs and provide service solutions such as remote support, asset management, maintenance, training, and digital services. Your work will help customers optimize operations, reduce risk, and improve productivity. You'll contribute directly to achieving Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets through sales enablement, opportunity development, and ongoing collaboration across regions.

Reporting Line :

You will report to Lifecycle Services Commercial Sales Manager.

What You'll Do :

You will drive the growth of Rockwell Automation's Lifecycle Services by working with sales teams and distributor partners to promote service offerings that enhance customer efficiency. Your role will span from strategy to execution, supporting both commercial efforts and customer success.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Promote lifecycle services solutions such as remote support, maintenance programs, asset management, training, and machine safety consulting to customers.
  • Develop sales strategies in partnership with Sales, Commercial teams, and distribution partners to meet our goals.
  • Support sales enablement by helping build seller and domain expert competencies and providing the insights, tools, and marketing materials needed to succeed.
  • Be a subject matter expert on service contracts and digital solutions, offering guidance to sales teams and customers to align offerings with business needs.
  • Engage with key accounts through presentations, demos, and collaborative planning to shape outcome-based solutions.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including webinars, trade shows, and customer events, to raise awareness and create demand.
  • Contribute to pipeline development and sales forecasting, tracking performance and ensuring alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Collaborate across departments and regions to share market insights, improve sales processes, and align strategies with global business units.
  • Support new service launches by providing training and go-to-market support to our internal teams and partners.

The Essentials - You Will Have :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • +5 years of experience in selling industrial services or solutions.
  • Prior experience in service sales within the industrial automation industry.
  • The ability to seek out new business opportunities and explore untapped markets.
  • Above intermediate proficiency level in English (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with the industrial automation market or related services.
  • Willingness to travel 30-40% to meet with customers or attend industry events.
