Job Description
Develops and implements production control responsibilities including: master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, manufacturing performance reporting. Approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, and receipt and issuance of production material requirements. Responsible of the Inventory levels, Supplier discrepancies, Mismatch Invoices.follow up with suppliers for prompt resolution. You will report to production teamlead.
Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Obtain materials, components, equipment and services. Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value. May recommend cost-saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria
Plan, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develop specifications for new contract orders.
Detailed Qualification
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Administration, engineering or related
English 85%
Proficient in the use of computer systems and software.
SAP knowledge.
5 years experience in similar position.
