Rockwell Automation has a position available for a data scientist to support supply chain programs, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse "big data" sources to create applicable insights. You will talk with all supply chain and data teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. You will support the development and coding of software programs and algorithms. You will identify findings from AI/ML to partners.
You will report to senior manager based in United States of America.
Responsibilities:
- Support development of AI/ML solutions.
- Collaborate with the supply chain subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate them into AI/ML solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, to evaluate their potential applications.
- Develop testing and validation strategies to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and safety of AI/ML models.
- Conduct proof-of-concept studies and pilot projects to assess the viability of AI/ML approaches
- Hybrid Position (Office location three days a week)
Qualifications: Essential:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in an ERP system such as SAP in a manufacturing operational setting.
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and ability to integrate multiple, large datasets in a complex analysis with clear outcomes.
- You have programming skills, in Python, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with Generative AI concepts and techniques.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Note: You will not have managerial responsibilities.
