Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation Team Lead to join our projects team. Based in Milton Keynes, UK, you will manage a team of engineers, their effectiveness, development, utilisation, training and personal growth. You will have a sound technical background and previous people management experience.

This role reports to the EMEA North LCS Solutions Engineering Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

• Leader of a project team that delivers automation projects in a range of industries including Life Science, Consumer Goods, Chemical and Automotive.
• Participate in the development and commissioning of automation projects using Rockwell Automation technology.
• Ensure that automation systems and associated documents are designed in compliance with all relevant industry standards.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT or science.
• 10+ years automation projects delivery experience.
• Experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA technology is required.
• Languages: English (required).
• Legal authorisation to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work & travel across EMEA.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 3+ years people management experience.
• Experience in the Life Sciences bio-pharma sector.
• Experience delivering Process Control Systems with PlantPAx.
• Experience in the Rockwell Automation portfolio of products such as Studio5000 & FactoryTalk Software especially FT View SE, FT Batch).
• Knowledge of Batch Process Control, ISA-S88 standard programming.
• Knowledge of GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, ASTM E2500, GMP, etc..
• Knowledge of Virtualisation technology.
