Job Description
Summary:
Reporting to our Production Control Manager, the Production Control Analyst will develop the manufacturing plan to support the plant goals such as efficiency, on-time delivery, inventory levels and customer service. Implement Purchase orders to guarantee a healthy supply of parts from supplier. Is responsible for daily production requirements through the analysis of production order management. Work with management team to ensure that deadlines and schedules are met and thereby preventing line stoppages/delays to maintain a while making the plant efficient.
Responsibilities:
Create daily production efficiencies by releasing/sequencing the manufacturing orders related to specific products and assigned project work based on material/ capacity availability.
Work along with the MPS to prepare a weekly production schedule based on customers' Needs and available resources and review weekly finished goods inventories, identify trends and act accordingly.
Work with the Master Scheduler and Manufacturing Engineers to thoroughly understand and advise on managing short-term/long-term capacities to minimize the cause for past due orders.
Update plant SAP material records (lot size, safety stocks, reorder points, lead times) - for Semi-Finish Goods to ensure shipment and performance to support production requirements.
Monitor Customer Service metrics and analyze performance gaps related to assigned products, using cause tools.
You will manage material availability and inventory levels for Semi-Finished Goods by setting / monitoring SAP exceptions.
You will create realistic material, manufacturing and procurement strategies for new product introductions/phase out products to support the NPM (new product manufacturing) process for Semi-Finished Goods/Finished Goods.
You will manage material availability and inventory levels of semi-finished products by managing SAP exceptions according to established parameters and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
One year of experience in Planning or Supply Chain.
Advanced level of English.
Proficient in Word, and PowerPoint & Advanced in Excel (can perform complex functions).
Experience using SAP, preferable.
APICS Certification, or pursuing APICS Certification, preferable.
