Job Description

Rockwell Automation's Industrial Component Business is looking for an Intern to support a team of engineers focused on testing innovative products which support Rockwell Automation's Connected Enterprise & Linking Technology strategies. You will report to Team Lead, in Hardware Test team and work onsite in Katowice, Poland. This is a paid position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate test equipment to perform electrical and mechanical tests under supervision of experienced Technicians
  • Setup test platforms for product or system tests
  • Support maintenance and safety activities related to the equipment and tools used by the laboratory
  • Report on performed tests
  • Identify and report issues
  • Build and modify PCB prototypes
  • Diagnose, calibrate and troubleshoot test equipment under management of experience Technicians

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Technical School degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Basic English skills fluently and with people at all levels.
  • Legal authorization to work in the European Union

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Preferable students of last years
  • Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products and technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation or testing methodologies.
  • Experience with basic soldering and assembling electronic components.
  • Proficiency in working with laboratory tools and measurement equipment.
  • Understanding of basic programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++).
  • Previous experience with hardware testing or related projects.
  • Familiarity with PCB design and testing tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards in laboratory environments.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about industrial automation and testing technologies.
