Job Description

Job Title: ETL Tester

Experience Level – 2 to 4 Yrs

Education Qualification: BTech, BE, MTech, MCA

Reports to: Program Manager

We are looking for experienced QA Engineers with expertise in Datawarehouse (DW), ETL processes, and data migration. You will create test strategies and cases, writing test scripts using Python/Java.

Required Skills:

o Understanding of Datawarehouse, Data Migration and ETL concepts.

o Must have experience working with Test Management Tools like HP ALM or JIRA.

o Must have in-depth experience of SQL, DWBI, validating Delta tables and full load tables.

o Can create strategies and test cases for applications.

o Must have experience in writing test scripts using Python/JAVA.

o Have experience or understanding of Big Data engineering tools like Spark, Hive or Hadoop.

o Experience in building ETL solutions in an AWS environment.

o Hands-on experience in relational databases and database architecture.

o good understanding of QA methodologies, software testing life cycle and processes data model, ETL architecture, Data warehouse concepts.

o Expertise in AWS, Redshift & RDS database, optimising, tuning queries, tables, and applying business rules/logic.

o Experience on Agile-based model and deliverable been managed single-handedly.

o Experience in failure debugging and writing clean & efficient scripts.
