Job Description
Job Purpose/Summary:
Reporting to our Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, you will define operation methods, systems and instruction to ensure the most efficient use of labor, materials, space and equipment for manufacturing product on time and work with quality standards.
Principles responsibilities:
1. Lead the accomplishment of yearly goals related to Indicators under its responsibility: data collection accuracy, analysis, implementation of containment and corrective actions. Lead efforts to ensure Continuation Team, Design and Test Team support the plant's objective.
2. Design and improve manufacturing process operations, considering efficiency, quality and safety aspects.
3. Perform assessment of safety and ergonomic risks in active manufacturing operations.
4. Provide (or investigate) alternatives for down processes and materials to avoid production disruption, lead documentation of approval of alternate methods (Deviations or equivalent approval documentation).
5. Improve product/line flow to produce efficiency and productivity improvement in Production (includes Flow, space distribution, operation routine, definition of fixtures, tools, and instructions).
6. You will ensure the accomplishment of the schedule for the lines under responsibility, providing guidelines to production regarding line balancing, special instructions for quality issues, equipment issues and reworks.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Industrial, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Degree.
2. Full bilingual English/Spanish.
3. Manage PC, windows programs.
4. 5 years of experience in related role.
Preferable:
Six Sigma and Lean Knowledge or certification.
Statistical analysis knowledge.
Technical knowledge in electronics or technologies.
