Job Description
As a Low Voltage MCC Application Engineer, you will design and configure Low Voltage Motor Control Centers solutions based on Rockwell Automation products including AC Drives, circuit breakers, overload, contactors and multiple control components. You will create electrical diagrams and bills of materials, and collaborate with customers across the EMEA region, and our teams such as mechanical designers, project managers, and manufacturing.
You will report to the Low Voltage Application Engineering Manager located in Katowice, Poland. You will operate in a hybrid mode, with two days working remotely and three days onsite at the Katowice factory.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and configure motor control centers according to customer orders and specifications.
- Prepare bills of materials, electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Perform technical reviews of customer specifications and drawings.
- Collaborate with project manager and customers to finalize designs.
- Work with team members, including mechanical designers and system programmers to develop design solutions.
- Support manufacturing and procurement during project execution.
- Propose product and process improvements
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Engineering degree (electrical or automation preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical, control and automation field.
- Knowledge of motor control, industrial automation applications and industrial electrical components.
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Creo, or similar CAD software.
- Fluent English.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience working in an international environment, both externally and internally.
- Experience in controls and automation field.
