Job Description
As Senior T&E Data Analyst you will help improve the way of assuring compliance within our policies. You will help to increase the T&E audit effectiveness and fraud detection. You will develop database solutions and models to enable business insights and actionability while ensuring company information is stored effectively and securely.
You will report directly to T&E Manager and Global Process Owner and work in hybrid model from our Katowice office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create reports/analysis using multiple data sources,
- Assure proper data quality used for the analysis and provided reports,
- Design and develop advanced dashboards,
- Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies issues on big relational data sets,
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, turn analysis output into actionable information,
- Perform behavior analysis to detect any abnormality in the trends,
- Communicate data analytics results and preliminary hypotheses,
- Promote automation and improvements of current reporting process using available tools,
- Identify and investigate fraudulent activities, collaborate with other teams and Management to escalate, and address fraudulent situations promptly and effectively,
- Analyze T&E patterns to detect and determine existing fraud trends,
- Review and investigate the expense reports to identify potential and actual losses,
- Minimize fraud and organizational risk through proactive measures,
- Perform early detection of suspicious activities and implement controls to prevent losses.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (Finance, Statistics, or related field),
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in the data analysis,
- Experience with statistics, big data and its visualization,
- PowerBI proficency
- Experience in scripting with SQL with an ability to write complex queries to extract information,
- English proficency,
- Experience - translating analysis results into recommendations,
- Skill - thinking beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in data,
- Nonstandard thinking, openness, curiosity in data mining and analytics,
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience in risk assessment/risk reporting and fraud detection,
- Competency in data analysis in Python,
- Familiarity with basic concepts on modelling and ML.
