Job Description

In Account Receivable Team we book payments from the bank statements on EMEA region. We cooperate with other departments such as Credit Management, Account Payable, General Ledger and Disbursement to obtain necessary data. Our Team fosters a positive atmosphere providing support for all team members and encourages to look for improvement and simplification in daily responsibilities.

You will work in hybrid model of work with office in Katowice.

You will report to Account Receivable Team Lead.

Your Responsibilities:

• Booking of bank statements and cash application,
• Process direct debit payments,
• Research and resolving payment discrepancies,
• Monitor unapplied cash items and follow up,
• Prepare electronic proof of payments,
• Process requests from Credit & Collection Team (matchings, write offs, preparing reports) to reconcile customer accounts,
• Cooperation with other departments to obtain booking instruction,
• Ensure relevant company policies and documented SOX procedures are being followed,
• Identify and reports process related issues & possible process improvements,
• Perform other related duties as assigned and process Ad Hoc Accounts Receivable activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• University degree (Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent) major in accounting,
• 1 year working experience in the accounting area - Order to Cash or Shared Service
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP
