Job Description
Role Purpose
The HR Generalist is available on request to support a variety of Human Resources tasks or programs and will provide primary operational support for employees in the organization. You will participate and interface within all areas of Human Resources to provide support for managers and employees.
Reporting Line
You will report to Korea Country HR Manager.
Position Summary
Recruitment and Onboarding :
- Help with job postings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews
- Draft up offer letters, employment agreement and manage pre-employment processes
Employee Relations and Engagement :
- Address employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and payroll
- Support employee engagement programs and events
HR Operations
- Local deployment support of HR programs (ex. Implementing new payroll methods locally, Workday implementation, launching new CoE program, others).
- Ensure all local policies are up to date according to local legal requirements.
- Provide local support for corporate projects, such as engagement and inclusion programs, global voices (employee survey) and action planning.
- Handle leave management (parental leave applications and benefits/subsidy from the government)
- Support with HR audits and reporting requirements (requests from local government subsidiaries)
- Coordinate with payroll team for accurate processing
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions
- Manage workers' compensation and disability claims
- Issue employment certificate upon request
- Help with HR policy implementation and compliance with labor laws
The Essentials - You Will Have :
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR in a multinational company.
- High level of proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- A detail-oriented personality with a strong sense of responsibility for data accuracy.
- A high sense of urgency.
