Job Description

Position Summary: The Agreement Manager is responsible for reviewing, analyzing and approving Special Price Requests utilizing data analytics generated from DGS within an Industry Affinity model and within Delegation of Authority Limits. As directed by the relevant Global Agreements Manager and with moderate supervision, this individual will utilize standard analytical tools, Policies & Procedures to drive data driven decisions when approving and/or renewing Customer Special Price Agreements.

You will report to the Global Long-term Agreement Manager, and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data-driven analytics with DGS to review special pricing requests within Delegation of Authority limits and Internal Control procedures.
  • Communicate with Sales, Distributors, Product and Business Unit Managers for the purposes of escalating Special Price Requests and provide data-driven facts to support your recommendation
  • Renew Customer Long-term Pricing Agreements and associated Agreement Modifications
  • Implement Outlier Management initiatives within shared guidelines
  • Analyze data and make pricing recommendations for temporary, project related agreements
  • Achieve Price Variance goals
  • Support Sales in the execution of negotiations

People Management:

  • Exhibit data-driven decision in pricing business case.
  • Demonstrate pricing knowledge and make fact-based recommendations
  • Create data supported business cases when escalating pricing recommendations for management and Business Unit review
  • Communicate with and present to all levels of internal and external customers
  • Act with dynamic and discipline approach when closing customer opportunities

Interpersonal:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate cross functional partnering and work effectively across company boundaries
  • Display enthusiasm and a passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • Display professional maturity in all interactions

Business:

  • Use statistical methods to analyze data to create pricing decisions and associated reporting
  • Display an ability to support and communicate your recommendations with data and facts
  • Provide pricing comparisons and analysis using standard analytical tools
  • Be viewed as an important value resource by colleagues and peers
  • Familiar with a broad range of computer applications
  • Understand global cross border selling issues (FX, Duties, etc...)
  • Demonstrate understanding of distribution channels

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred: Data Analysis, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Finance)
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and modeling within an industrial business-to-business environment or equivalent educational or job-related experience
