INTRODUCTION AU RÔLE

NXTSENS est à la recherche d'un stagiaire en comptabilité pour participer à notre programme de stage. Nous encourageons les étudiants en comptabilité motivés ou les diplômés récents à postuler à ce poste.

Le candidat retenu gagnera une expérience précieuse en comptabilité industrielle dans un environnement Startup à évolution rapide, collaboratif et très performant.

Le stagiaire en comptabilité relèvera directement du contrôleur financier et devra travailler un total de 40 heures par semaine.

RESPONSABILITÉS ET TÂCHES

• Aider à la recherche, au classement, à la saisie de données, à l'enregistrement et au maintien de dossiers financiers précis et complets.
• Préparer des rapports financiers, tels que des bilans et des états des résultats, des factures et d'autres documents.
• Travailler avec un logiciel de comptabilité.
• Traiter des informations sensibles ou confidentielles avec honnêteté et intégrité.
• Apprendre à travailler au sein de l'équipe financière pour compiler et analyser les données, suivre l'information et soutenir l'entreprise.
• Autres tâches nécessaires pour soutenir l'équipe des finances et de la comptabilité.

COMPÉTENCES REQUISES

• Doit être un diplômé récent ou travailler activement à l'obtention d'un baccalauréat ou d'une maîtrise en comptabilité.
• Avoir suivi de manière satisfaisante des cours d'introduction à la comptabilité et avoir une compréhension de base des principes comptables et financiers.
• Aptitude pour les mathématiques, maîtrise des logiciels de comptabilité.
• Solides compétences en communication orale et écrite, en anglais et en français.
• Haut niveau d'efficacité, de précision et de responsabilité.
• Motivation et forte envie de relever de nouveaux défis et d'apprendre autant que possible.

INTRODUCTION TO ROLE

NXTSENS is looking for an Accounting Intern to take part in our internship program.

The successful candidate will earn valuable industry accounting experience in a fast moving, collaborative, and high performing Startup environment.

The Accounting Intern will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be expected to work a total of 40 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Assisting with analysis, filings, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Assists in preparing monthly financial reports, such as financial statements , budgets , and other reporting documents.
• Working with accounting softwares and internally developed tools.
• Handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
• Learning how to work as part of the Finance team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the business’ needs .
• Assist with external audit requests
• Other tasks as necessary to support the Finance and Accounting team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Bachelor’s in Accounting.
• Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Proficiency with accounting softwares and Microsoft Office Suites, primarily Excel (Power Query knowledge an asset).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, in both English and French.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Self-starter with a strong desire to take on new challenges and develop their learning.
