About the position: We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Toronto-based engineering team or work remotely from anywhere in North America. Engineers at NXM are challenged to solve a range of technical problems related to building a fast, reliable and scalable security platform. You will directly impact a complex and growing codebase. In this role you will: design and develop blockchain-based cloud services; collaborate with cloud and firmware developers to define APIs and reference applications; partner with our security team to define innovative approaches to device monitoring; build tests to maintain a high standard of quality; seek out improvements to the platform and drive initiatives to implement them; participate in code reviews; work on integration testing and end-to-end problem solving. Qualifications: Computer Science or Engineering degree strongly preferred; minimum 5 years’ back-end development experience with proficiency in Java; experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform; RESTful web services; web development including HTML5 and JavaScript; JavaScript frameworks such as React JS or Vue JS; experience in Android or iOS development (nice to have); experience with pipeline tools such as Docker, BitBucket, Terraform and Hashicorp Vault.
