We partner with global leaders in semiconductors, embedded OS and other sectors to protect devices ranging from commercial, industrial, and consumer IoT to aerospace. NXM has partnered with NASA JPL to deploy our technology on next generation robotic vehicles and space infrastructure, including future Mars and Lunar missions.About the positionWe are looking for a talented Sales Development Representative to join our Toronto-based team. This is a remote-working position, but will operate through the Eastern-Pacific time zones selling into North America.In this role you will:- Contribute to developing strategic sales and marketing plans with the business development team;- Develop and maintain business development relationships;- Contribute to managing and developmenting our channel marketing and sales materials;- Manage the outreach, communication and promotion of prospects to leads to customers and work with team members to secure licensing agreements, security services agreements, design wins and other important business development activities;- Reaching out to prospects over various social media, telephone and email- Provide product feedback to engineering teams; and- Represent the company at key industry events.Why It’s Important:- NXM wants to secure every IOT device and IOT network from hackers- We keep hijackers from making satellites fall from the sky, autonomous cars from crashing into pedestrians, and trains crashing into each other because of compromised switching equipment- We protect lives, save money and keep data from being stolen- But we need you to tell the people about the NXM solution!You’ll love this job if you want to:- Be part of a team that is making the Internet more secure- Advance your career and receive training in new domain knowledge- Participate in discussions and initiatives to help take the team to the next level- Work with high profile partners to integrate our solution into a larger ecosystem- Be a part of a game-changing cyber security solution for next generation transportation and communications- Want to quickly close deals and start building a sales organization around your successQualifications:- Be able to pitch us at the first meeting on why we should buy the NXM product- Present the sales process you are familiar with in an overview of your skills, what you are good at and what you want to grow in capabilities- Have experience in several CRM tools- Have experience in the cyber security industry and selling into the IOT, IIOT, OT and SCADA environments- Active hands-on personality able to build a sales team under you over time- Willing to actively sell and close deals on you own for the next 3 months- Experience working with a tech startupCompensation:- CA$60,000/year, with a reward structure for qualifying leads, setting introductory discovery calls, and winning service contracts that would bring this up to $120,000/year (want to change this?
