Your Mission:
We’re looking for tenacious Business Development Experts to help us drive our revenue and make a direct impact on Nuvei's growth. You’ll be focusing on B2B selling within the FinTech environment, specifically payment solutions. You’ll be a cold-calling expert who never takes no for an answer and who can adapt across multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
No two days in a high-growth scale-up are the same, but these will be your key responsibilities:
- Proactively building and managing a pipeline of leads through cold calling face-to-face and via phone.
- Own the full sales cycle, showcase Nuvei's value in competitive processes, and consultatively apply highly technical product knowledge from Nuvei solutions.
- Develop a strong understanding of the merchant’s business objectives and decision-making processes and position the Nuvei solution as a genuine value creator for our potential clients.
- Work closely with an Account Manager to help deliver better experiences for merchants & superior commercial outcomes.
- Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, etc.
- Develop and strengthen multi-level relationships within merchants to form long-term business partnerships.
- Stay across payment solution offerings from our competitors and understand their market strategy and value proposition to differentiate the Nuvei experience.
- Engage with our Product, Brand and Operations teams to share feedback and insights to help amplify our growth trajectory.
Qualifications:
We’re open to different skills and backgrounds who can help us deliver on this role, though you must have the following:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a focus on Payment-related services.
- Must have experience with GDS and OTA-related payments and familiarity with UATP services, preferably with experience servicing clients across multiple jurisdictions
- Significant track record of achievements and successes in the targeted field of expertise.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading complex negotiations for customized commercial agreements, including cross-border revenue agreements.
- Strategic problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions, increase merchant growth, and achieve strategic commercial value.
- Ability to build internal and external alliances to gain and share information including industry trends.
