Your Mission
We are seeking a Director of Sales - iGaming (Online Gambling) in ANZ. This will be a business development orientated role to initial create a brand presence in the market and thereafter progressively build a commercial team that’s dedicated to the delivery of new business, build our local footprint in the third largest online regulated iGamging market in the World (est. GGR USD $3.7 Billion - 2024 source Vixio). This role is accountable and responsible for the overall sales performance including achieving targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives aligned to the overall Nuvei business strategy.
Responsiblities
- Sales strategy: Develop and execute on the strategy to deliver successful partnerships across the payments industry to enable lead generation, and product enhancements to support revenue generation. Develop and execute robust strategies to maximize revenue streams.
- Strategic partnership: Build and foster teamwork across key internal partnerships to deliver on the customer experience and overall sales targets. Cultivate and nurture key client relationships, strategic partnerships, and alliances to enhance the organization's market presence and drive business success.
- Market knowledge: Experience working in the Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) iGaming market, understand the licensing topography, knowledge of the iGaming platforms and interface with regulators building the strategy to ensure revenue growth.
- Sales Leadership: Demonstrate a strong track record of sales management and team building, fostering a high-performance culture within the ANZ market and promoting collaboration within a multicultural environment. To start this will be an individual contributor role which will progressively build out a commercial team. The eventual size of the team will be driven by the effectiveness of the successful candidate.
- Metrics-Driven Approach: Implement a metrics-oriented approach with a keen focus on pipeline management, lead conversions, and revenue growth, ensuring that targets and quotas are met consistently.
- Payments Industry Knowledge: prior payments industry experience is essential, as it will enable you to better understand and navigate our specific sector.
- Global Responsibilities: Potentially leading to international expansion across the APAC region over time.
- Demonstrate intimate knowledge of the iGaming industry in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
- Sales Leadership: sales leadership, team development experience.
- Pipeline Quota Management: Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and exceeding quota expectations.
- Quantitative Management of Quota: Ability to use data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive revenue growth.
- Payments Industry Knowledge: 10 years’ experience within the payments industry.
- 10 years’ experience in Business Development / Sales within global enterprises with a thorough understanding of one or more of the targeted verticals.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, Masters / MBA desirable
- The preferred candidate will be resident in Australia.
