Your mission
We are looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our dedicated Finance team. You will be reporting to our Financial Controller. The position is temporary for 6 months. If you're a bright, highly organized, proactive individual, eager to make an impact, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the payroll process in Israel– working with Hilan as an outsourcing vendor
- Support the payroll administration process in an accurate and timely manner
- Handling onboarding and termination processes and paperwork
- Manage pension operations and insurance submissions.
- Act as a focal point for employee's payroll queries
- Maintain a high degree of service and confidentiality
- Ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- Certified Payroll accountant in Israel
- 1-3 years of experience in preparing/assisting payroll process.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and legal regulations for payroll & benefits
- Experience with Shiklulit, Michpal, and Hilan Payroll software is an advantage, excellent Excel skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Hebrew.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, Customer service oriented.
- Strong personal ethics.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Motivated, fast learner, and responsible.
