As part of the Learning & Documentation team, the Corporate Trainer designs, delivers, and coordinates workshops and other educational presentations on a wide variety of subjects for both internal and external audiences. The Corporate Trainer provides standardized operational support training for both new-hires as well as cross-training, or upskilling tenured employees. In addition, the Corporate Trainer is responsible for delivering training to global merchants and partners, working closely with our Business Development teams. To achieve this end, the Corporate Trainer works closely with all members of the Learning & Documentation team for creation and management of coursework and documentation as well as relevant teams within Nuvei.

The ideal candidate has experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The candidate must be a strong communicator with excellent writing skills. The candidate should have an outgoing and pleasant personality, be well organized, able to act quickly on their feet and have experience preparing comprehensive training decks and delivering effective training regarding sales in merchant services.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver training for new and tenured employees leveraging proven adult learning techniques.
  • Deliver training for external merchants and partners striving to understand and meet their needs.
  • Gather and analyze information to design, develop, and deliver new training programs to positively impact the organization.
  • Deliver training leveraging a variety of methods: traditional classroom, one-on-one, virtual, self-paced, etc.
  • Perform training needs analysis by assessing the skill level, performance, and competence of each learner.
  • Conduct validation activities, exams, and formal training plan reviews or updates, as applicable; make recommendations based on results.
  • Suggest improvements to be made in training processes to senior management; develop strategies for process improvement.
  • Report on performance and behavior of participants to management and other parties as needed.
  • Promote and advocate the concepts of peak performance and self-improvement across the organization.
  • Identify relevant training needs, documentation, and opportunities.
  • Track participant enrollment, progress, and other information by maintaining a database.
  • Establish and maintain familiarity with the latest in texts, materials, teaching aids, and training techniques relevant to the organization and its goals and objectives.
  • Generate positive attitudes and high morale in employees by nurturing a culture of cooperation and enthusiasm.
  • Be an example of corporate values and an ambassador of company brand.
