Your Mission

We are looking for a Reconciliation Team Leader to join our fast-growing Reconciliation team. Reporting to our Reconciliation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4-6 people

• Monitor all team members daily on their reconciliation tasks

• Perform daily reconciliation tasks on Providers assigned

• Daily download of data from providers portals/dashboard

• Review and give approval for modifications in internal database

• Identify and investigate unreconciled transactions and provide solutions

• Communicate with providers on discrepancies

• Communicate unsolved/suspicious transactions/activity to relevant stakeholders within the company

• Ensure providers are charging correct fees

• Ensure funds are received in a timely manner

• Monitoring Provider balances and request top ups/prefunding when necessary.

• Daily response to end user’s complaints raised by internal and external teams

• Monthly preparation and review of bank costs, amounts to be received per provider and currency (for all team members)

• Monthly preparation and review of FX (conversion) cost calculation (for all team members)

• Monthly SOX review and approval of all team members

• Maintain appropriate files, working papers, reports, and documentation of data

• Develop requirements for new APMs to be onboarded

• Attend meetings with Providers

• Attend meetings with Internal teams to align goals/targets/expectations.

• Training and handing over new APMS

Requirements

• Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance

• 4-6+ years of related work experience in the Finance/FinTech industry

• Proven Leadership work experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel

• Analytical and good communication skills

• Understanding high-risk industry in emerging markets would be an advantage

• Experience in creating reconciliation processes for a variety of payment providers

• Experience in analyzing and setting up the process of monitoring payment providers' balances

• Experience in analyzing Tech issues with providers and explaining the business needs
