Your Mission

The ISV Business Development Rep is responsible for identifying and closing new ISV opportunities based upon overall strategic goals. Additionally, this role is responsible for working with senior leadership (at Nuvei and prospects/clients), product, marketing teams, and pricing, to build out and manage GTM strategy, focused on developing & driving new business acquisition and adoption through targeted partners.

Ideal candidates should be eager to advance in our organization by demonstrating their ability to be a tenacious self-starter every day. You will be responsible for prospecting and signing new partners. You should have prior experience in building a Sales Strategy for large ISV Partner Organizations. This is an individual contributor role with a decent base and commissions. The ideal candidate is proven collaborator across multiple stakeholders with strong leadership and software solutioning skills. This is an incredible opportunity in Sales to work on a fast-growing channel that will shape the future of our business.

You will:

  • Understand partner ecosystems, partner business models, needs of partners and Paya solutions to uncover opportunities and craft partner specific solutions.
  • Create and drive strategic initiatives with partners & be-seen-as a subject matter expert that the partners can rely on for product, payment & industry trends, best practices & expertise.
  • Deliver on stated business and financial goals and/or successful completion of strategic goals.
  • Build relationships with senior management at potential partners, engendering trust, confidence, loyalty, awareness and mutual benefit.
  • Establish yourself internally and externally as the main point of contact for anything related to your prospect/partner and align internally through strong involvement across Paya.
  • Provide product guidance and recommendations to new partners to assist with their implementation of Paya adoption.
  • Project Management of large strategic deals from pitch to launch & beyond to manage partner marketing programs & plans.
  • You should have prior experience in building a Sales Strategy for large ISV Partner Organizations.
  • This is an individual contributor role with a decent base and commissions. You must possess an expert understanding of how to drive business with and through the partner ecosystem.
  • Individual must be a self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business.
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales and/or business development.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree, MBA, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to drive results with C-level contacts internally and externally.
  • Comfortable navigating large and complex organizations to influencing and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Proven ability to uncover and deliver revenue through partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of payments ecosystem.
  • Strong technical aptitude and proven track record for achieving quota in technology sales.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, environment.
  • Experience designing and executing go to market strategies at targeted verticals
