Your Mission

The Director of Learning and Development position is responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational learning and training needs and the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate organizational and professional development, and continuous learning of team members and emerging leaders. The director will create and implement programs and policies that govern organizational growth and achievement as a company.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess the learning and development needs within each department and across the organization. Identify issues and trends, recommend improvements, and facilitate change using a collaborative approach.
  • Provide enterprise-wide leadership and guidance on organizational development strategies including Talent Development, Learning and Development, Training, and Leadership Development. Initiatives may include 360 Reviews, Career Pathing and Development, Performance Assessments, Succession Planning.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and management team to ensure individual development plans are in place for key talent, to enhance their ability to achieve goals and to assume increased levels of responsibility.
  • Develop the infrastructure for all training and development programs by establishing standardized methods and procedures for request, development, delivery, evaluation, measurement, and reporting.
  • Collaborate on assessment and development programs that support multiple levels of the organization, examples of which include the 9-box model for leadership roles, individual development plan builds for managers, etc.
  • Support business partners by identifying the development strengths and critical opportunities in the organization to contribute to improving performance and achievement of business strategy.
  • Empower teammates, managers, and leaders to feel ownership of their professional and personal growth through impactful programming and delivery of self-service and ready-to-use organizational development toolkits and resources.
  • Connect performance improvements to metrics and behaviors that are important to the business.
  • Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.
  • Assists with the training and coaching of employees regarding learning and development methods and tool

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Organizational Development and/or Human Resources.
  • 5+ years of experience contributing to the development and execution of global learning and development and training strategies and project plans.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships across the company to enhance partnership and speed.
  • Exhibit a high degree of integrity, credibility, curiosity, and results orientation.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong people, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • General understanding of OD focus areas such as employee engagement, inclusion & diversity, and leadership development.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Experienced in a high-tech and fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

Working Language

  • English (written and spoken) is the language used most of the time, as work colleagues, clients, and strategic suppliers are geographically dispersed.
