  • Plan and manage regulatory testing and certification activities, including test plans and submissions through approvals, renewals, and recertification, that are aligned with product development schedules.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and test laboratories to optimize timelines and leverage regional regulatory overlaps.
  • Maintain all compliance documentation and records, including Technical Construction Files (TCFs), product markings, packaging symbols, and audit‑ready documentation.
  • Assess the compliance impact of engineering changes, certification updates, and environmental regulations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead environmental compliance efforts, including requirements such as RoHS, REACH, POP, TSCA, California Prop 65, battery, packaging, and Ecodesign regulations, partnering with external consultants as needed.
  • Collaborate across Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Contract Manufacturers to educate stakeholders, implement requirements, support factory audits, and ensure compliance expectations are clearly understood and met.

You have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory and environmental compliance for hardware products in global markets.
  • Strong working knowledge of international regulatory and environmental standards and certification processes.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies, test labs, and external compliance consultants.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across cross‑functional teams.
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented, and solutions‑focused approach to compliance challenges.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with evolving regulations and product requirements.
