About The Role

People Experience is one of the ingredients that makes NPX special. Our team removes obstacles, solves problems, and helps our team do their best work every day.

The People Experience Partner is a hands-on role supporting NPX’s growth and big ambitions. You’ll work closely with leaders across the organization to attract great talent and plan for future workforce needs to help our teams thrive.

This role blends recruitment, workforce planning, and talent strategy. You’ll be a key partner to our leadership, helping ensure we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.

Estimated salary (based on experience): CAD$80,000-CAD$100,000

Here’s How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Recruitment: Lead full-cycle recruitment across the organization, partnering with Leads to hire great people across technical, consulting, and leadership roles.
  • Workforce Planning: Partner with Leads to understand upcoming work and translate it into practical hiring plans and talent pipelines.
  • Partnering with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring leaders on role design, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions.
  • Talent Strategy: Support initiatives that help NPX attract, develop, and retain great people as we scale.
  • Employer Branding: Contribute to strengthening NPX’s reputation as a great place to work through recruiting activities, career events, and collaboration with the brand team.
  • Student & New Grad Pipeline: Contribute to strengthening NPX’s reputation as a great place to work through recruiting activities, career events, and collaboration with the brand team.
  • Culture & Engagement: Contribute to an inclusive culture grounded in diversity, equity, inclusion, and action. Participate in initiatives such as Community ImpaX, the IDEA team, in-person engagements, and career fairs.

These Will Help You Succeed

  • 4-6 years of experience in recruitment.
  • Data-driven mindset. You’re comfortable using people data (e.g. recruitment metrics, engagement insights, and compensation benchmarks) to inform decisions and improve how we hire, grow, and support our teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with a clear system for managing priorities and keeping work on track.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Relationship-focused with the proven ability to build partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.

Fyi

  • We use Humi for our HRIS, Ashby for our ATS and operate in a Microsoft environment.
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada, and the role must be performed from within Canada.
  • You must be able to obtain a nuclear security clearance.
  • We operate largely remotely, but the role requires occasional trips to our Port Elgin/Kincardine offices and attendance at industry events or career fairs. Our HQ is in a rural area not serviced by public transit, so access to a reliable vehicle is required.

🌿 What You’ll Find Here

To do great work, you need to be well in mind, body, and soul. At NPX, we design our environment around the whole person, not just the job they do.

  • 🧠 Mind: Tools and support for mental wellness, professional growth, and financial security.
  • 🧘‍♀️ Body: Health coverage, a spending account, and the freedom to rest and recharge.
  • 🌀 Soul: Meaningful work, alignment with your values, and time to refresh with time off.
  • 💰👀 Financial wellbeing? Covered. That means competitive pay and recognition for the impact you make.

💬 Pssst. Just a heads up that we use AI to help in the filtering of candidates based on job-specific criteria. Humans decide who to move forward, and this way we're able to spend more of our time supporting our candidates directly.
