Novarc Technologies is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.
Summary: As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in fueling our growth by identifying and nurturing qualified leads for our cutting-edge AI-enabled vision and robotic welding solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the automation and welding industry, driving change and efficiency in fabrication shops across heavy industries, robotic companies, and welding sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute targeted outreach through cold calls and personalized email campaigns to identify and engage potential leads.
Conduct thorough research to understand the landscape of target accounts, their current welding practices, and readiness for automation technologies.
Present our AI-enabled vision solutions in a compelling and informative manner to demonstrate how they can solve industry challenges and improve operational efficiency.
Utilize tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Cognism to discover and connect with key decision-makers.
Maintain and update CRM databases with comprehensive information on prospects and client interactions to facilitate a seamless flow of data within the team.
Assess lead interest levels, budget alignment, and their stage in the purchasing process to qualify them as potential customers.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure that leads meet quality standards for conversion.
Share best practices, insights, and strategies to enhance team-wide lead generation efforts.
Participate in team meetings and contribute actively to discussions to continuously improve outreach and engagement approaches.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
At least 4 years of B2B sales experience within the North American market.
Proven expertise in business development and negotiations, with a minimum of 4 years of direct experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR) role.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in building relationships and leveraging persuasion to drive business outcomes.
Track record of success in cold calling and email outreach, consistently achieving lead generation goals.
Quick to adapt and learn, with a solid grasp of emerging technologies and industry trends.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring efficient and effective work processes.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a clear focus on achieving targets and driving success.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with fabrication shops and welding processes is a plus.
Technical knowledge of robotic welders and automation is advantageous, though not required.
A background in enterprise sales is desirable, but not mandatory.
Success Metrics:
Meet the monthly goal of generating net new MQLs and SQLs.
Increase conversion rates from Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
Drive revenue growth through strategic and effective lead generation activities.
