Quality Coordinator (12 Month Contract)

Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Position Vacancy Type: Existing position (temporary vacancy)

Compensation Range: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

THE IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Coordinator (12-month Contract) to join our Quality Systems team and play a key role in strengthening and sustaining our Quality Management System (QMS). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, systems-minded professional who thrives in a regulated medical device environment and is passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Lead and conduct internal audits for various processes in our QMS to document evidence of compliance to ISO 13485:2016 and applicable regulations.
  • Manage and triage customer complaints (CUCO and medical), CAPA requests, Sterile Lot Reviews, and quality documentation to ensure regulatory compliance, timely resolution, and product release.
  • Review Device History Records (DHRs), Certificates of Conformance (CofCs), inspection forms, and other quality documentation to support product release and compliance activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, forms, and process documentation.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a Quality Management System in a regulated industry.

ADDITIONAL STRENGTHS:

  • ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor Certification is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of quality principles and practical application in regulated environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive communicator who collaborates effectively across teams.
  • Comfortable working with metrics, trends, and data to support decision-making.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA Quality System Regulations preferred.
