What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a Customer Data Analyst (Contractor) to transform user behavior data into actionable insights that enhance our clients’ marketing, personalization, and growth strategies. This role will work closely with strategy, marketing, and UX teams to uncover trends, segment audiences, and optimize digital experiences based on customer interactions. Success in this role means delivering clear, data-backed recommendations that improve acquisition, engagement, and retention outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Architect, implement, and manage digital analytics solutions using Google Analytics 4 and Adobe Analytics
- Lead tag management initiatives using Google Tag Manager (client/server-side) and Adobe Launch
- Plan and manage data layer design, event tracking frameworks, and cross-platform measurement strategies
- Build and maintain pipelines into data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery) to support unified analytics
- Design and implement identity resolution strategies to unify customer data across platforms
- Provide strategic consultation on analytics best practices, privacy-compliant data collection, and reporting frameworks
- Support personalization and optimization strategies with data-driven segmentation and performance analysis
- Collaborate with developers, strategists, and marketers to translate business goals into measurable outcomes
- Document data implementations, tracking plans, and technical processes for internal teams and clients
- Stay ahead of digital analytics trends and share knowledge with cross-functional teams
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or analytics implementation role, ideally in a digital agency setting
- Experience working with clients directly
- Deep experience with GA4 and/or Adobe Analytics, including custom configurations and advanced features
- Strong knowledge of GTM, Adobe Launch, and both client- and server-side tagging
- Hands-on experience with SQL, BigQuery, and data pipeline architecture
- Understanding of identity resolution, cross-domain tracking, and user stitching techniques
- Knowledge of JavaScript for debugging, tag implementation, and troubleshooting
- Excellent documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Familiarity with data privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CPRA) and ethical data use
Bonus Skills!
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) like Segment, Tealium, or BlueConic
- Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
- Certifications in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or GCP
